Visvim – FBT Classic

Japanese label visvim has been gearing up with an energetic spurt of product releases and getting all styled up for Spring. Among the new models and items in both footwear and apparel, the label’s stronghold and beloved Native American moccasin inspired FBT has just released the FBT Classic which will go wonderfully with both fitted denim and cuffed chinos for the warmer days. The FBT Classic is crafted from a natural suede upper with natural cork footbed insert for support and comfort. The suede upper is hand-sewn to meticulous construction perfection. The mid-top shoes feature a fold-over panel fastened around the ankle with suede laces that also drape in a casual fringe over the heel. The shoes feature classic moccasin toes and sit atop EVA Phylon midsoles with rugged long-wearing outsoles. The kicks come with PVC heel stabilizer for runner-shoe like support. As the shoes are extremely breathable, socks are optional, but in visvim’s own words “Socks are optional but frowned upon”. Like all other visvim shoes, the natural leather used are specially treated and naturally tanned, thus no one pair is alike and will fade and distress uniquely with age and wear. Look out for them at visvim retailers near you soon! Definitely on the cop list if I could afford the $400 that they retail at!

Kaws Installation in ARCO Madrid

Kaws debuts another dope Installation in Arco Madrid this past week. Kaws ho is probably one of my favorite artis in the game right now.He shows off his unique canvases and sculpturing.It’s also In conjunction with his solo exhibition at the Galerie Javier Lopez in Madrid, KAWS is taking part in the ARCO Art Fair as well, with a small showcase of his signature artwork. Featured is a set of paintings follow his SpongeBob theme, along with one of the artist’s Chum sculptures. ARCO runs through February 21st for those interested in attending.
